Step 1
The pants we will draw in this guide on removing pants will be a pair of jeans, as this is one of the most popular types of plants worldwide. We will take it from above while we draw the opening of the pants. This pants part may seem relatively simple, but some details must be considered. First, draw the center of the pants by drawing two skinny rectangular shapes that connect. However, these shapes will have open spaces on their outer edges. Then, after leaving minimal gap, you can draw a long skinny shape on each side. This will form the edge of the pants, and the small gap will soon be filled with a belt loop. Finally, use some rounded lines for the tops of the pockets, and then draw a final line over the shapes you just drew for the back of the tops of the pants.
Step 2 – Next, draw some details for the pants section you just drew
In this next step, we’ll build on what you drew in the previous area of your pants drawing. First, we’ll fill in those little spaces you left by using some curved lines to create the belt loops. Then, once drawn, we’ll add the fly for the pants. This will be marked with a few more curved lines to create the slender shape you see in our reference image. The last thing we’ll draw in this step will be a button for the top of the pants opening. Then you are ready to move on to step 3 of the guide!
Step 3: Directly count the flanks of the pants.
In this third step of our guide on drawing pants, we will add a lot to the pants. For the most part, we’ll be focusing on the sides of the pants, and you can draw these sides of the pants using some slightly jagged lines. We will also extend some straight lines on the pants’ inside, which will work as the fold lines for the pants. The bottom of the pant legs will be blank for now, but we’ll fill those spaces soon.
Step 4: Draw the rest of the outline of the pants.
You are now ready to finish the outline of the pants in this step of drawing your pants. We mentioned that you would fill in the bottom of the pant legs in the last step, and that’s what we’ll be doing here.You can finish these parts by drawing the last flat section of the pant legs. A few more crease lines that extend to the pants’ inside will also be removed. Then it’s just a matter of filling in the details and finishing touches in the next step!
Step 5: Add the finishing touches to your pants pattern.
Before we color your image, we first need to add some details and finishing touches in this step of our guide on how to draw pants. These details will be small but effective in making these pants look more realistic.
The first details will go into the pocket on the left side, and you can draw it with some small, straight lines and two points. The finishing touches will be adding a few more crease lines down the length of the pants. You can add more wrinkles if you want the pants to look more worn!

Step 6 – Finish the drawing of your pants with some color
For this final step of drawing your pants, you can finish it off by coloring your creation! In our reference image, we used shades of blue to emphasize further that these pants are similar in style to jeans. However, this does not limit you to these exact shades of color; you can use any color you like to create your unique pant design.
