By Air

Day 1
The day before you leave, you will need to travel from Dehradun towards sankri.The entire distance of 220 kilometers. It takes about 10 hours to get to Sankri. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a stunning view of the Himalayas. In addition, you will pass through an area called the Govind National Park. This park is filled with different species of wildlife and flora.
Day 2
Today, you will have to walk across Sankri up to Juda ka Talab. Juda ka talab is located at an elevation of 9,100 feet. In the afternoon, trekkers have to walk for 5 km.
The Hre area is a stunning pine and maple forest. When you reach Juda ka Talab you need to stay overnight. It is a stunning camping site.
Day 3
The following day you must rise early to catch the breathtaking sunrise. After you have enjoyed this breathtaking moment you must head to Kedarkantha base. Kedarkantha base is located at an altitude 11250 feet higher than sea-level.
The distance between Jadu Ka Talab from Kedarkantha base is 4 kilometers. It is possible to travel the distance in between two and three hours as it’s a moderate trek.
The hike will become steeper slowly. When you are at the altitude of 10,400 feet, you will be able to see the splendor of nature. It’s a beautiful sight.
Day 4

After reaching Kedarkantha summit, you can visit some of the Swargarohini, Gangotri, Yamunetri, Bandarpoonch, Kalanaag. The views from the summit are never boring. At the top you will view the small temple. This temple is dedicated to the god Shiva, goddess Parvati and Lord Ganesha.
After you have enjoyed the entire experience, it is time to go back into Hargaon camp. In the evening, you must remain here. The campsite offers stunning views across the valleys.
Day 5
The next day you will have to walk back to sankri. The total distance for the trek is 6 km. It can take between 4 and 4.5 minutes to finish.
Day 6
After eating breakfast in the morning , you have to return to Dehradun. It is a 220-kilometre drive. It takes 10 hours for the journey to finish.
