Steps to do Peacock Mudra:

1 – First of all, sit on your knees by laying a mat on a flat ground (Virasana Mudra)
2 – Keep the ankles close to each other and make a little distance between the knees
3 – Now bend forward and place the hands on the ground between both knees, keep the elbows and fingers of the hands by your side and keep the waist straight
4 – Bend the elbows slowly so that your elbows start coming towards your stomach
5 – During this, let the weight of the body come on the hands and start straightening the knees, first lift one leg in the air and then raise the other leg while balancing.
To make this mudra it is necessary to put full weight on the hands and one can practice it for the duration as per one’s capacity. However, if you are going to do Mayurasana for the first time, it is better that you take the help of an experienced yoga instructor.
Precautions during Peacock Mudra:

- Slowly raise the legs in the air to balance the body
